What is a good chair mechanism?
The steel thickness must be thick enough, at least 2.5mm for the steel plate, and at the cone position 3.0mm thickness
The function for adjusting the chair's height must be OK, and can control the gas lift's up&down without any problems
The locking function must be smooth and good enough
The knob to control the gas spring's tension must be good, and the spring inside of the knob strength much be good enough.
If the mechanism have the slider, the slider must be smoothly and can be locking at the appropriate positions.
The chair mechanism must to pass BIFMA Destroying Testing
The chair mechanism must to pass BIFMA Duration testing, the unit shall be cycled for 300,000 cycles at a rate between 10 and 30 cycles per minute.
